.RO Policy Changes Impacting Domain Expiration Dates - March 1, 2018

As of March 1, 2018, the .RO registry will be allowing new registrations and renewals for a period of 1-10 years. In order to facilitate this transition for the registrants of these domains and align expiration dates, HEXONET will be extending the registration period of all .RO domains free of charge. All affected customers have already been notified by email with their new expiration dates.

A new pricing model for .RO will take place in our system March 1, 2018.

 

.PH Price Increase - April 1, 2018      

The .PH registry is raising the price of .PH domains for foreign domain registrars. There will be a total of three price increases over the next 2 years. The first price increase will take place in our system on April 1, 2018. It applies to .PH, .COM.PH, .NET.PH, and .ORG.PH. Customers that have existing .PH registrations should consider renewing prior to this increase.

 

.VOTING Price Increase - June 1, 2018

The registry operator for the .VOTING TLD, Valuetainment Corp., has announced a significant increase to its domain registration, renewal and transfer pricing from June 1, 2018.  As this will apply to all existing domain renewals, you may want to renew your domains before this increase takes effect.

In addition, the registry will offer a special e-voting solution in the form of a software-as-a-service (votes are anchored in the blockchain) with each registered .VOTING domain, which will be available without any additional fees.

The following .VOTING price changes will take place in our system June 1, 2018.
